It had to be. I first ran the camping for 3 months without any slaps. Then started using aweber optin forms. Month later I was slapped. I quickly restarted the campaign under the different domain. Month later again slapped. Restarted it again, and then days later I was slapped. Now, I'm running it again but this time without an optin form. Will see how long it lasts.

@Niche - Are you sure that the slap is a direct result of having the opt-in on the page?

Forgot to mention. I took my opt-in form down this time. It's a hassle to deal with slaps. I rather have a slap-free long-term running campaign.

That's great ad hustler. I incorporated opt-in form on pages late last year. Now I have over 4k emails. The only problem is, between then and now, I've been slapped 3 times by Google. It seems Google manual reviewers don't like sign-up or opt-in forms on landing pages. Especially, if you're NOT a big website or advertiser.
