Well, the car salesman wins… he sold $800,000 in 4 days! Definitely a great sales pitch utilizing both urgency and a great satisfaction conviction.
He was totally pretending to be stoked about giving the money back, he was really stoked because so many people fell for the pitch.
@Mike – Haha totally, but honestly it makes no difference to him. Car dealers buy one time insurance on these stupid events. They pay a fairly low premium and are covered in case that really does happen. If you ever play golf outings, you see “Hole In One Car Donated By Such & Such Dealership.” The dealer takes out hole in one insurance which isn’t very expensive considering hole in ones are rare, so they aren’t actually donating anything other then the insurance premium.
